USI uses standard galactic time for current times and dates. There are 13 months and 241 days on this system, and days are 36 hours long.

The months in order are:

  • Sol
  • Lyra
  • Cancrii
  • Delphinus
  • Phoenicis
  • Chara
  • Eridanus
  • Xi
  • Caelum
  • Indus
  • Velorum
  • Orion
  • Pyxidis

The date and time is determined by the alignment of these stars with the star in the Expletun home system.
