This is located in the LCM of every personnel serving in the USI. When activated, the Emergency Location Beacon transmits your location to USI ships/stations/outposts for retrieval.
ELB uses standard String based communication technique used by many factions. Because it is string based, anyone may pick up on its signal. Due to its size, it only has a range of a few light years.
